Cheap Tablet Cooperation "Google-Asus" Launched Early May?


The rumors related to Google and Asus plans to bring an affordable tablet re-enliven the world of rumors milling about in the virtual nature. More advanced than the previous paper, tablet collaboration vendors from Taiwan and the Internet giant is rumored to be revealed early next May.


According to a statement quoted industry sources as PULSAonline via DigiTimes, stated that the 7-inch tablet that will be priced at a price not much different from the Amazon Kindle Fire, which is about 199-249 USD.

Asus does not give any response APU latest news related to this. While Google, according to sources was said to be looking for partners for manufacturers based in Taiwan since the end of last year. Besides Asus, there are several other potential partners in Taiwan such as HTC and Acer.

The source revealed, although HTC has a pretty strong design capability, but it was determined to develop a model of 'co-brand'. In addition, HTC is also reluctant to develop devices with a low price that can damage the 'brand image' has. While Acer, said not to have their own R & D capability.

Google finally chose Asus because ODM capability, and quality products have been produced.
