Nokia N9 Run Android 4.0.3 ICS (Video)


N9 is the first phone and only Nokia that runs the Linux-based operating system, MeeGo. Nokia N9 was only released in limited markets. No wonder if the smartphone is not so audible prominence, especially the Finnish vendor is currently working on the focus andalnya smartphone operating system, Windows Phone.


Associated with MeeGo smartphone that was recently named a forum NitDroid Development Forum released a project known as Project Mayhem. The purpose of this project is quite simple, namely port Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to the Nokia N9 and see how the Android operating system running on Nokia phones.

What do Android fans who have NITDroid group as this is quite interesting. Considering it was just released Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich to dock in N9 cell phone.

As quoted PULSAonline via Android Authority, said although this is the first stable release but Android port is called Project Mayhem, it was considered quite functional and also give ICS a smooth experience. Some minor problems have arisen as a response accelerometer and video playback on YouTube.

Nokia N9 itself is a mobile air-MeeGo OS that comes with 3.9-inch AMOLED screen treats, single-core processor 1 GHz TI OMAP 3630, and also supported by 1 GB of RAM. How N9 action with Android Ice Cream Sandwih 4.0.3, see the following video.
