Gingerbread Android Users Reaches 62% Market Share

Recorded Android platform continues to spread in the world of global smart device. And, now re-presented details of the number of its users around the world. And, not surprisingly the results recorded in accordance alias previous predictions, that the Gingerbread increasingly dominant for now.


Devices that carry the Android operating system Gingerbread number has reached 62% of global market share of Android (Android 2.3 Android as much as 0.5% and 61.5% for 2.3.3). Froyo Android users are now only limited to 25.3%, from 27.8% previously.



Honeycomb Android-based devices (v3.0 and v3.1) were recorded shrinking in number, which is now limited to 1.2% (previously 1.5%). Meanwhile, for the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich noted to increase, despite creeping slowly, with an increase of 0.6% (1% to 1.6% market share).



Hopefully, future Android-based devices more and more ICs, with an affordable price tag.
